IDRW2025: Empowering Rural Women for a Resilient Future

RURAL WOMEN’S DAY 2025  – As the world marks the International Day of Rural Women, Four Icons Premium joins the global call to recognize the crucial role of women in driving food security, climate resilience and sustainable development.

This year’s theme, “The Rise of Rural Women: Building Resilient Futures with Beijing+30,” underscores the need to dismantle barriers that limit women’s access to land, finance, education and leadership despite their vital contributions to agriculture and environmental stewardship.

At Four Icons Premium, we see these realities every day in our work with agricultural development projects across Nigeria. Our communication and capacity-building programmes have amplified the voices of projects supporting rural women, equipping them with skills in strategic communication, storytelling and knowledge sharing, and promoting inclusion for women farmers and processors. 

Rural women are more than farmers; they are innovators, entrepreneurs and custodians of resilience within their communities.
