Edo Team Trained on Visual Storytelling for Project Impact

Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria  – As part of its mission to strengthen communication capacity in development projects, Four Icons Premium has concluded a successful training on “Documentary Production on Project Achievements and Impact” from May 26th to 30th, 2025 in Benin City, Edo State.

The training brought together key project staff of the Edo State Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support (LPRES) Project; collaborating Ministries, Departments and Agency officials responsible for documentation, monitoring, and communication, with a shared goal: to learn how to document effectively, create powerful video and photo stories that reflect the real impact of their work on the ground.

Over five days, participants were guided through modules on scripting impactful documentaries, capturing high quality visuals, conducting interviews, editing techniques and audio management. The training culminated in video documentary interview production assignment, where participants worked in teams to create short video stories showcasing community based project results.

The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with many describing the training as timely, transformative, and practical.

“This is one of the most practical trainings I’ve ever attended,” remarked a participant. “I now understand how to move from raw footage to a compelling final product.”

Four Icons Premium’s Managing Director, Aishat Onusi, who led the training reiterated the organization’s commitment to equipping development professionals with the skills needed to communicate impact effectively.
