IFAD-VCDP National Workshop for Communication Officers

In Abuja – The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD)’s Value Chain Development Program (VCDP) held an interactive training workshop on New Media and Digital Storytelling in Development Communication, for its Communication Officers drawn from the nine participating states in Nigeria.

The training session, which was part of its periodic Community of Practice, CoP meeting was facilitated by Managing Director, Four Icons Premium  – Mrs. Aishat A. Onusi who brought her wealth of knowledge and experience to bear by sharing lessons on digital storytelling, corporate social media strategies and best practices. The lessons also included case studies on how to improve public access to project information, the process of success storytelling and writing, as well as visibility enhancement amongst others.

Participants in attendance include IFAD-VCDP’s National KMC team and Communication Officers from the nine participating states comprising Anambra, Benue, Ebonyi, Enugu, Kogi, Nasarawa, Niger, Ogun and Taraba.
