World Food Day 2025: Hand in Hand for Better Foods and a Better Future

Every year, the world comes together on October 16 to celebrate World Food Day, a moment to reflect on how collective effort can shape the future of food. This year’s theme, “Hand in Hand for Better Foods and a Better Future,” underscores the urgency of collaboration among governments, organizations, communities and individuals in building a sustainable and food-secure world.

At the heart of this year’s message is the need to transform global Agrifood systems to respond effectively to climate change, economic instability, and widening inequality. The theme aligns with the Food and Agriculture Organization’s “Four Betters”: Better Production, Better Nutrition, a Better Environment, and a Better Life, a framework that resonates strongly with the work we do at Four Icons Premium.

Through our strategic communication and capacity-building programmes for agricultural development projects across Nigeria, we continue to champion knowledge sharing, innovation and inclusive participation across Nigeria’s agricultural sector.
